What it does
Press a shortcut, pick what to capture, and a small preview card appears, ready to copy, save, annotate, pin or drag into another app. It does area, window, scrolling and 'smart' captures, records video or GIFs with a camera bubble, reads text out of images, and can hide emails, card numbers and keys in one click. AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor can take and read screenshots through its built-in MCP server (a standard way for AI apps to use other tools).
